š· Supporting Frontline Heroes
When the COVID-19 pandemic struck in 2020, frontline workers became the nationās greatest defendersārisking their lives daily to keep our communities safe. Yet, many clinics and essential services faced shortages of protective equipment, leaving staff and the public vulnerable.
The PortiaMoroe Foundation (PMF) recognized this urgent need and, in collaboration with Mask 4 All Foundation, stepped forward to provide critical support.
š„ Protecting Clinics, Police, and EMS
During the lockdown, PMF donated face masks not only to Chiawelo Clinic in Soweto, but also to local police officers and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) teams. These groups worked tirelessly on the frontlines, often under-resourced, yet essential in protecting and serving the community during one of the most challenging times in our countryās history.

In a formal letter of acknowledgment, Ms. S. Mvula, Facility Manager at Chiawelo Clinic, expressed gratitude for PMFās generosity and timely intervention. The same spirit of appreciation was echoed by members of the police and EMS services who benefited from the donation.
š The Power of Partnership
Working together with Mask 4 All Foundation, PMF demonstrated that partnerships amplify impact. By combining resources and networks, more communities could be reached, and more lives protected.
